I love my job as a Realtor and I love where I work! I am a Texas native who moved to South Georgia in 1981 and then to the Atlanta area in 1985. Throughout my years in the North/Northeast Atlanta area, I have lived in a variety of cities including Lawrenceville, Norcross, Tucker, and Buford. Growing up with a dad who was a builder, I eventually decided to join my husband in the real estate business in 2000. While we enjoyed the strong real estate market in the early 2000’s, we also learned the importance of constantly learning and growing our skills to not only survive challenging economic times, but to assist our clients who are impacted negatively with various challenges including health, financial, loss of spouse, or other life events. We deeply value time spent with family and friends and especially time with our precious grandchildren, although it gives us great joy to assist clients with their goals for buying or selling real estate. We bring over 20 years of experience to our clients so we can help buyers and sellers not only understand the process but avoid many common issues that can arise during a real estate transaction. In addition, since we have been in business in the North/Northeast Atlanta area for so many years, we have extensive market knowledge as well as excellent systems for communicating with all parties to result in a successful closing. Our team is focused on staying abreast of technical tools for marketing and communication and we are committed to assisting our clients in an excellent way with their goals at the forefront of our mind. Whether you are considering up-sizing or downsizing or you just want to get started in purchasing your first home, please reach out via email, text or phone and I will be delighted to talk to you to see if we would be a good fit. We have a proven system that helps sellers avoid the typical problems that occur when selling their home. We want to help you experience success!

Sue was born in Williamsport, PA , where she lived until second grade when the family moved to Overland Park, KS due to Dad's career, and then relocated to Indianapolis, Indiana where she started middle school and lived there until moving to Buford, GA in July 2022. This move was predicated on "downsizing" since her husband retired but mostly to reunite with daughter and son-in-law who moved to Lawrenceville in 2020. Family means everything! She has always been interested in real estate. After college, she worked for real estate appraisers on the northeast side of Indianapolis for about twenty years and was the data collector and wrote appraisal report facts to be incorporated into narrative commercial, retail, and industrial property appraisals as well as residential appraisal reports before the electronic forms packages became available and the internet took off! She was also managing a staff of five others and keeping the work flowing out the door on time for clients and lenders in need. Sue then got a "life" so they say! She married for the first time at age 36 and started a family soon after, resulting in a beautiful daughter. This little family moved just south of Indy to Greenwood, IN in 1992, although keeping many ties with friends and family all over the Metro Indianapolis area. She followed her daughter through the school system, and worked school hours for 14 years as a language arts and reading specialist at the elementary level. It was a great experience and she shared the same hours and holidays and vacation times with her daughter through 2009 when she graduated high school. That last year of working in the school system Sue went to night school to get her real estate salesman's license and joined Carpenter REALTORS, a wholly Indiana based corporation, in June 2010. Let the real estate career begin! Upon landing in Buford and gaining her Georgia real estate license, Sue has joined forces with the Bunch Team of Keller Williams Realty Atlanta Partners Group. After a slight learning curve in a new State, Sue is ready to meet new clients and work hard for them. It's always been said of Sue--she never meets a stranger. Since 2010, the real estate market has grown by leaps and bounds and how can you help but learn and grow from it? From first time buyers to seasoned veterans wishing to downsize, every client gets the same consideration and compassion from Sue, who is grateful to stay busy with her career working everyday to maximize her potential in the business. Having just experienced a long distance move and purchasing a home needing renovations, Sue can reflect "first hand experiences" to those clients wishing to do the same. Meanwhile, in any flexible time away from the office, Sue and her husband have volunteered for a food pantry meeting the needs of families who need a boost and especially food in their homes. Also, Sue is a "softee" for animals and currently has four rescued dogs and one cat living in their home. A foster failure is not a bad thing for the animals or for Sue. We support the Humane Society and other charities through our church affiliations also. A Realtor's schedule is not their own. You learn to be flexible with your time and get done what HAS to get done. Passion is the keyword in Sue's vocabulary, along with communication to keep things moving forward to place her clients at the closing table on time and for the best price! That's Sue's story and she always looks forward to meeting new faces. What's your story?

I am a Georgia native, originally from southwest Atlanta. I began working in Johns Creek in 2019 and subsequently moved to Gwinnett County not long after, so I am familiar with both the Atlanta and Gwinnett areas. Fast forward to 2023 and I now live in Hoschton with my partner. I'm an avid reader who enjoys thrillers and historical fiction, with a small side of romance. Hiking, traveling, and cooking with my partner, as well as trying new restaurants and exploring small cities and towns in Georgia are on my list of favorite things to do. In recent times I have also discovered that I enjoy flipping furniture. And as far as I am concerned, Disney World is the happiest place on Earth. From my love of homebuying and renovating shows, I grew a passion for helping others find and fall in love with their home. Home is both your safe and happy space, so I am dedicated to assisting my clients to navigate not only their home search, but also the path to seal the deal. Let me help you find your new home!
