The high school building is located off of Buford Hwy NE across the street from Buford City Hall and a few blocks away from Buford's historic main street. In addition to academics, Buford High School features 29 varsity athletic programs, under their Wolves mascot, with championship records and a robust arts program. Mill Creek High School

Mill Creek High School is part of the Gwinnett County Public School district and has a larger student body of over 3,700 students. The high school building is located off of Braselton Hwy in the southeast side of Buford. The school prepares students well for college with 85% of graduates going on to pursue a college degree or vocational program. Mill Creek High School’s mission is to create a culture of excellence through the development of character, academics, talents, leadership, and service. Their mascot is a hawk and the Mill Creek High School Hawks S.O.A.R.: strive to overachieve through accountability and respect.

Coming Soon: Seckinger High School

Opening in the fall of 2022, Seckinger is also part of the Gwinnett County Public School district and is going to alleviate the Mill Creek High School and Mountain View High School populations. Per Sekinger High School’s website, this next-generation high school will offer innovative learning opportunities and preparation for the fast-paced environments of the future. The brand new high school is built to enroll up to 2,800 students.
